About Bodine
|
| In 1952, Bob Bodine,
Carl Bryson and Fred Rolling took the Steelcase Metal Office Furniture
line and formed Bodine, Bryson & Rolling, Inc. The three men built
a reputation for selling quality furnishings for the office and they
sold to some of Birmingham's top companies. |
| In 1972, Carl Miller
purchased the company and convinced Bob Bodine to stay on as a key
member of his team. Mr. Bryson and Rolling formed their own non-competing
businesses. Miller brought the skills of managing, organizing and
growing the business while Bodine continued to display his expertise
in the area of design, space-planning and selling. |
|
 |
| Miller had the foresight to hire
an experienced sales team and designers who focused on selling more
than just "desk and chairs" ... they emphasized a well
planned and productive office space. |
